Patrol Rifle #3322

This course will give students a basic knowledge in deployment and operating techniques for utilizing the rifle as a patrol officer.

Student Materials:

Mandatory equipment: Rifle suitable for patrol operations (5.56mm preferred) with iron sights, Sling, Cleaning gear for rifle, Duty belt with sidearm and spare magazines, Spare magazines for the rifle, hat, eye and ear protection

The rifle must be approved to carry by your agency. The rifle must have iron sights and a sling. Students need cleaning gear for rifle, duty belts with duty weapon, spare magazines for rifle handgun, flashlight, hat eye and ear protection. The students will also need 1000 rounds of rifle ammo and 100 rounds of handgun ammo.

Optional equipment: Inclement weather gear, shooting mat, red dot type optical sight, elbow/knee pads.
