Tyler Junior College Summer Camp
Program Description
Do you have a budding chef in the family? Spark your child’s interest in the amazing world of culinary arts while they enjoy hands-on activities. Campers will be introduced to delicious made from scratch recipes and prepare a variety of cuisines, experience real culinary art adventures, and learn proper kitchen etiquette, serving skills and kitchen safety rules.
Requirements for this camp:
- Closed-toed shoes and hair pulled up and away from the face are mandatory.
- Long pants are required; shorts or dresses are not permitted.
- All food must be consumed on-site.
- Each camper must bring a reusable water bottle.
Registration fees include T-shirt, camp photo, and all supplies. Campers must provide their own snacks.

Registration
Please fill out the appropriate Registration/Consent Form located after the camp descriptions. Please make certain your camper’s age fits within the age/grade-level range listed in the camp description. Feel free to copy for multiple camps/campers. There is limited enrollment in each camp, so please register early.
What to Bring
- Please provide a healthy snack and drink each day.
- Provide a sack lunch and drink if electing the Supervised Lunch option (pre-registration required).
Supervised Lunch
A supervised lunch hour is provided for those campers who are registered for a morning camp session and an afternoon session. This option requires pre-registration. Please bring a sack lunch as no food service is provided. Students will be escorted to their next camp session.
Transportation
Parents are asked to provide daily transportation for students attending camps and daily walk students inside the facility. Please pick students up promptly.
