Bold Blooms: Painting Big, Wild Florals

Let loose and let your florals fly in this joyful, free-spirited workshop designed to shake off the rules and spark your creativity. In Bold Blooms, artist Fran Cooper invites you to explore the wild side of floral painting—think large-scale blooms, expressive brushwork, and vibrant color that practically leaps off the canvas.

Using acrylic paint, stencils, collage, and spontaneous mark-making, you’ll build layers that bloom with personality and movement. Inspired by flowers but not confined by tradition, this class is all about embracing freedom, trusting your instincts, and having a whole lotta fun along the way.

Bring a canvas 16x20” or larger (because we’re not here to paint small!)—all other materials are provided. No experience needed—just an open mind, a love for color, and a desire to create something boldly, beautifully you.
