Program Description
Sworn peace officers in the Tyler region and surrounding jurisdictions who may encounter high-risk traffic stop scenarios during patrol or tactical operations. This course addresses the critical need for law enforcement personnel to be thoroughly trained in the procedures, communication strategies, and tactical coordination required to safely and effectively manage high-risk stops. By focusing on threat mitigation, officer safety, suspect control, and scenario-based applications, the training ensures that officers are prepared to respond with confidence and precision in potentially volatile situations. The course also reinforces the importance of teamwork, clear command structures, and adherence to best practices, contributing to safer outcomes for both officers and the public.
Training is intended for Peace Officers, Law Enforcement Officers, Detectives, Supervisors, and Patrol Officers. A TCOLE number is required for TCOLE credit.
No civilians are allowed.
