Program Description
Law Enforcement
The purpose of this course is to advance the training of a basic latent print examiner and give them practical experience through extensive exercises to gain the ability and confidence to progress more into latent fingerprint identifications. This will build their confidence and further their career in fingerprint identification.
Equipment Requirements: Fingerprint magnifier, ridge counting pick or ridge counter scriber, camera (point-and -shoot is acceptable).
On-Campus
Training is intended for Peace Officers, Law Enforcement Officers, Detectives, Supervisors, and Patrol Officers. A TCOLE number is required for TCOLE credit.
No civilians are allowed.
