Program Description
This 8-hour course equips investigators with practical methods to investigate fraud schemes operating across jurisdictions and identify the individuals behind them. Participants will learn how criminal groups use business email compromise, impersonation scams, and other social engineering tactics, while gaining hands-on experience tracing cryptocurrency transactions, recognizing money laundering indicators, and understanding the legal authorities available for investigation and seizure under Texas and federal law.
Students are responsible for their own laptop computer.

Training is intended for Peace Officers, Law Enforcement Officers, Detectives, Supervisors, and Patrol Officers. A TCOLE number is required for TCOLE credit.
No civilians are allowed.
